Aperion Care in Olney and the Olney Police Department will host an educational seminar on “911 : What You Need To Know” next Monday (4/16/18) evening at 5:00. The free community event will discuss the difference between landline and cellular calls, pre-arrival medical instructions, and much more. All are invited.
The Auxiliary of Carle Richland Memorial Hospital will have a Book Fair next Monday (4/16/19) from 9:00 to 3:30 in the private dining rooms at the hospital. There will be quality books, gifts, cards, toys, and much more, all at discount prices. All proceeds go for Auxiliary projects at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital.
The Olney Public Library will host its second annual Grands Outing tomorrow (4/15/18) afternoon from 2:00 to 4:30. Grandparents and grandchildren are invited to come out and enjoy games, books, balloon twisting, face painting, and much more. All grandchildren and their grandparents are welcome to attend tomorrow.
The Richland County Heritage Foundation has its facilities in Olney open tomorrow (4/15/18) from 1:30 to 4:00. That’s the Carnegie Museum, along East Main Street, and the Heritage House and McsBurg School, both on Kitchell Avenue. Admission is free for tours and to look over the artifacts and items on display.
The Dundas Ruritan Club has its annual “bulk chowder” today with serving to start at 11:00, continuing until it’s all sold out. Priced at $15 per gallon, there’s also homemade pies and other baked goods.

The Claremont Bonpas Fire Department will host a fundraising breakfast this morning with serving from now to 11:00 or until sold out. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet with tickets at the door.
